Bluefish Tours' Shark Diving tour takes you 5 hours into the open Pacific in search of silky, blue, hammerhead, tiger, and mako sharks using a technique called chumming, where bait is cast into the water to attract multiple species. Departing from Marina del Rey, Dock C, the boat heads out past the iconic Land's End Arch into open water. Once sharks are located, certified bilingual guides brief you on shark behavior and biology before you enter the water with full snorkel gear and a wetsuit. You'll learn about their critical role in the marine ecosystem while getting up-close photos you'll never forget. All safety protocols are strictly followed. Equipment is high-quality and well-maintained. Seasickness medication is recommended. Minimum age 16. Seasonal availability: March through June only.
