Stay near the marina

Book early for peak season
December through April is high season. Hotels fill up fast — especially around Christmas, New Year's, and spring break. Book at least 2–3 months ahead.
Check beach swimmability
Most Cabo beaches have strong Pacific surf and rip currents. Medano Beach is the main swimmable beach. Corridor resorts often have calmer, protected coves.
All-inclusive vs. independent
All-inclusives are great for relaxing but can feel isolating. Staying in town gives you more flexibility to explore restaurants, bars, and book tours easily.
