Private Rides — Terms & Disclosures

1. Service Description
4 Cabo Fun Private Rides connects travelers in Los Cabos, Mexico with independently operating, locally vetted private drivers for point-to-point and hourly transportation within the Los Cabos area. This service is operated by Best Cabo Tours LLC (operating as 4 Cabo Fun).
2. Airport Transfers Excluded
This service does not include airport pickups or dropoffs. Transportation to and from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is strictly regulated by the Mexican government and local authorities. Drivers in the 4 Cabo Fun Private Rides network are not authorized to perform airport transfers. For airport transportation, please use our Airport Transfers page.
3. Driver Vetting & Licensing
All drivers in the 4 Cabo Fun Private Rides network are personally reviewed and approved by a trusted local representative in Cabo San Lucas before they are permitted to accept bookings. As a condition of participation, each driver must hold a valid Mexican driver's license and maintain current vehicle insurance as required by Mexican law. 4 Cabo Fun does not independently verify the authenticity of driver documents but relies on the vetting process described above. Travelers book at their own discretion.
4. Insurance & Supplemental Coverage
Each driver is required to carry current Mexican vehicle insurance. In the event of an incident where the driver's insurance does not fully cover damages or injuries, 4 Cabo Fun maintains supplemental coverage intended to address gaps up to applicable policy limits. This supplemental coverage is not a guarantee of full compensation and is subject to the terms of 4 Cabo Fun's insurance policy. Travelers are encouraged to carry their own travel insurance. 4 Cabo Fun is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss beyond what is covered by the applicable insurance policies.
5. Independent Drivers
Drivers are independent operators, not employees of 4 Cabo Fun. 4 Cabo Fun acts as a marketplace platform connecting travelers with vetted drivers. Drivers set their own rates within platform guidelines. 4 Cabo Fun collects a 10% service fee on each booking (7% platform operations + 3% vetter commission).
6. Pricing & Fees
Prices displayed include the driver's rate plus a 10% 4 Cabo Fun service fee (7% platform fee + 3% vetter commission). All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. The driver's rate is set by the individual driver and may vary.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled ride are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the ride may be subject to a cancellation fee at the driver's discretion. No-shows are non-refundable. To cancel, contact [email protected] with your booking reference.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 4 Cabo Fun's total liability for any claim arising from a private ride booking shall not exceed the total amount paid for that booking. 4 Cabo Fun is not responsible for delays, route changes, or service interruptions caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond the driver's control.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Baja California Sur, Mexico, and applicable US law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Los Cabos, BCS, Mexico.
